Patrick Gormley, founder of GORMLI, is a designer, creative director, stylist, and brand consultant based in Denver, Colorado.

He is most known for designing hats from a young age and his work has been sold in stores nationally since he was 15. From 2007 onwards, he has consistently designed a wide variety of new headwear styles for hundreds of colleges, NBA and NHL teams, retailers, and brands. He also has personally designed for and given hats to many notable rappers like Mac Miller, Big Sean, Macklemore, as well as popular artists and athletes such as Nathan MacKinnon, Tyson Barrie, Eric Hosmer, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, and Cherub.

Coming from a family with a history of designing and innovating baseball caps since the 1980's, he grew up with a unique perspective into hats, streetwear, licensed sportswear, logos, branding, and typography. As a teenager, he worked under his own brand, Powwow, designed hats for Zephyr, and interned for the boutique brand Jiberish. At the age of 20, while studying business at the University of Colorado, he played a key role in designing and creatively directing Zephyr Hats during the major industry transition to snapbacks, which led to an increase in the company's annual sales by $8 million. While studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan at Sophia University, he immersed himself in the Japanese streetwear scene and gained further experience working with international stylists, brands, and models. His later work developing the Japanese-inspired brand tokyodachi® was praised and earned a nomination for '2022 Best Licensed Sports Brand' by Licensing International alongside major brands Formula 1, WWE, and Yale.

Gormley's design style is influenced by Virgil Abloh, Kanye West, Jonas Becavqua, Taz Arnold, Pete Drago, Daniel Patrick, Pharrell Williams, Ronnie Fieg, Javier Laval, Yohji Yamamoto, Matthew Williams, Chris Stamp, Jerry Lorenzo, Scott Sasso, Teddy Santis, George Heaton, & Salehe Bembury.
